The museum
In September 2021, the “Follow the Herd” exhibition was officially opened at the museum of the Lipizzaner Stud Piber.
The exhibition offers a wealth of fascinating information about the breeding, life and care of the Lipizzaners at the stud farm and the Spanish Riding School. Original exhibits from the nineteenth century can be found in the museum, as well as a true-to-scale model of the Spanish Riding School and much more. The exhibition is enhanced by numerous multimedia experiences. Our museum is the ideal place to learn more about the world-famous Lipizzaners while having a lot of fun with the whole family.
The museum can be explored either as part of an independent visit of the stud with the aid of our visitor app, or with a professional guide as part of a guided tour of the stud farm.
Tip!
The museum is open throughout current opening hours. This way you can immerse yourself in the centuries-old history of these noble horses even while the Lipizzaners are resting in their stables from 12 noon to 1 pm.
