Yes, the stud farm can be visited in a wheelchair. However, there are slight inclines and slopes, so we recommend a visit with a companion.
- There is a disabled parking space at the top of the hill, to the left of the entrance to the inner stud farm area (turnstile), opposite the granary (museum).
- Further wheelchair-accessible parking spaces are located in the visitor car park at the foot of Castle Hill.
- Disabled toilets are available at Piber Castle, in the climbing park ticket shop and on the grounds of the Piber Arena.
The stud farm is disability-accessible, which means that it’s possible to visit with a stroller.
There is also a changing table in the ladies' toilet in Piber Castle.
Four-legged friends are welcome at the stud farm, whether it’s on an independent visit or on a guided tour!
However, please note:
- In the inner area of the stud farm, dogs must always be kept on a short lead.
- Dogs are not permitted at events held on stud grounds (e. g. the Spring Celebration) or on alpine pasture tours!
The Graz Region Tourist Office will be happy to help with suggestions and recommendations for accommodation.
