General Terms and Conditions of the Spanish Riding School – Lipizzaner Stud Farm Piber GdöR

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) apply to ticket sales for events (“tickets”) and vouchers for events (“vouchers”) of the Spanish Riding School – Lipizzaner Stud Farm Piber GdöR (“Spanish Riding School”) exclusively in Vienna (but not in Piber).
The Spanish Riding School distributes tickets and vouchers exclusively on the basis of these terms and conditions, which are also displayed during the ordering process. Tickets and vouchers purchased through another sales partner are subject to the terms and conditions agreed with that sales partner.
In some cases, special conditions (e.g. special events) may apply in addition to these GTC. The visitor will be notified of this accordingly. In the event of a ticket or voucher being passed on to a third party, the visitor is obliged to draw their attention to the validity of these GTC.

2. Prices

The prices of the Spanish Riding School apply in accordance with the price list that is currently valid. You can access the price list here: www.srs.at. Prices are stated in euros and include statutory VAT; VAT is indicated separately.
The Spanish Riding School reserves the right (especially in respect of special events, large groups and similar) to set different prices in some cases. Visitors will be notified of any change in pricing.
Reduced price tickets are available for certain (beneficiary) groups of people. When purchasing these types of tickets, persons belonging to a beneficiary group must be able to prove their eligibility by means of photo identification and any other proof required for the discount. The groups of people who are eligible for such tickets are listed on the Spanish Riding School website (www.srs.at). In the event of misuse or unauthorised use of such tickets, the difference between the reduced price and the standard price will be charged and the visitor may be expelled from the event without receiving a full or partial refund of the ticket price. There is no legal entitlement to concessionary tickets, specific tickets or ticket categories.

3. Ticket purchases

The terms and conditions for purchasing tickets and vouchers are available to view on the Spanish Riding School website (www.srs.at). The Spanish Riding School is entitled to limit the number of tickets and vouchers that are issued per person.
When using the web shop (www.srs.at), a binding offer to purchase a ticket or voucher is made by clicking the ‘Buy’/‘Order now’ button.

4. Postal delivery

If tickets or vouchers are sent by post, additional shipping costs will apply. These are shown separately during the ordering process.

5. E-tickets

If “E-ticket” or “E-voucher” is selected as the delivery method, a ticket/voucher for printing (print@home ticket) and a wallet file will be sent along with the confirmation email. Either the print@home ticket (printout or on-screen version) or the wallet ticket must be presented to the usher at the event. Only the first printout of a print@home ticket or the first wallet ticket that is presented will entitle the holder to attend the event.

6. Payment methods

Payment for tickets/vouchers is made using the payment methods available at the time of purchase/order. The tickets or vouchers will be available once payment has been received.

7. Cancellation of tickets by the purchaser

Tickets cannot be cancelled. There is no statutory right of cancellation for tickets for fixed events (see also point 10 below).

8. Cancellation of a purchase by the Spanish Riding School

The Spanish Riding School is entitled to cancel a purchase and refund the ticket or voucher price paid if
    •   the payment is not authorised by the bank / credit card company and other payment issues arise that are beyond the control of the Spanish Riding School
    •   the purchaser acts in contravention of, or attempts to circumvent, the regulations pointed out during the booking process (e.g. purchases more tickets than the permitted number per event and purchaser)
    •   the event is cancelled.

9. Cancellation or change of events

The Spanish Riding School reserves the right to cancel events. If an event is cancelled, tickets that have already been purchased can be returned to the Spanish Riding School box office within seven days of the date of the cancelled event.

E-tickets are automatically refunded if an event is cancelled.
The Spanish Riding School does not accept the return of tickets purchased through a sales partner.
The Spanish Riding School reserves the right to make changes to events and these do not constitute grounds for a refund or price reduction. The same applies to minor delays to the start of an event. It is the visitor's responsibility to find out about any changes on the day of the event (e.g. by looking on the website or by calling the Spanish Riding School).

If an event is terminated, the ticket price will be refunded if less than half of the performance has taken place at the time of cancellation and no alternative performance is offered.

10. Right of cancellation for vouchers purchased online or by email

If vouchers are purchased by email or via the website, the customer, provided that they are the end user, has the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days of the conclusion of the contract or, in the case of purchased goods, within fourteen days of receipt of the goods without stating any reasons.

To exercise the right of cancellation, the purchaser must inform the Spanish Riding School of their decision to cancel the contract by means of an unequivocal declaration (e.g. by letter, fax or email).

The cancellation form provided on the website may be used to exercise the right of cancellation, but use of the cancellation form is not mandatory to exercise the right of cancellation.  To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for the notification concerning the right of cancellation to be sent before the cancellation period has expired.

If the right of cancellation is correctly enacted, all payments will be refunded at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which notification of cancellation of the purchase contract is received. If vouchers have already been sent to the purchaser, the payment including delivery costs will be refunded within fourteen days at the latest, starting from the day on which the voucher is returned to the Spanish Riding School. However, the purchaser shall bear the costs of its return shipment. The refund shall be made using the original payment method; no fee shall apply to the refund.

The right of cancellation does not apply to vouchers for fixed events.

The purchaser has no right of cancellation if a voucher is redeemed within the cancellation period or the purchaser receives a ticket for a specific date. Refunds are subject to the return of previously issued vouchers to the Spanish Riding School and verification that the voucher(s) have not been redeemed.
