The white stars of the Spanish Riding School Vienna are on tour with a stunning international tour that takes them through five European countries starting November 2022 in Germany.

The Lipizzaner stallions and their Riders will then visit Denmark and Norway in December 2022 and France and Switzerland in January 2023

The first appearance of the Lipizzaners in Germany takes them to Neumünster as part of the Trakehner Stallion Market in in the Hollsten-Halle on Wed., Nov.30^th, Thu., Dec.1st and Sun., Dec.4^th.

After that the tour continues in Denmark and Norway with performances on Fr., Dec.9th. and Sat., Dec. 10^th in the Royal Arena in Copenhagen and on Fri., Dec.16^th   Sat., Dec.17^th and Sun., Dec. 18^th at the Telenor Arena in Oslo.

The next public performances of the “Ballet of the White Stallions” are after New Year in Paris on Sat., Jan. 7^th   and Sun., Jan. 8^th 23 at the La Defense Arena followed by performances from Jan. 12^th to Jan. 15^th in Basel in the St. Jakobshalle as part of the "CHI Classics Basel".

The ongoing preparations in Vienna in close coordination with the organizers on site guarantee the best conditions for the horses and the riding team while they are on tour.  

On their perfectly prepared journey the stallions will be accompanied by stable master Andreas Haipl and their trusted grooms. On arrival well-equipped stables and special feed ensure perfect conditions.  36 transport crates and about four tons of equipment, including white deerskin saddles, gold bridles, velvet scallops and the famous birch whips together with the uniforms of the riders together with their bicorn hats are the precious cargo are part of the extensive preparations at home.

Eight Riders, including two Chief Rider, as well as up to 26 horses for seven program points present the performances on the big tour through Europe. In addition to the program items which include "All the Steps and Movements of the Classical School", the performance "Long Rein" and the famous school jumps Levade, Courbette and Capriole, the Riders will also present the "School Quadrille" with eight stallions, which will demonstrate high dressage in a finely tuned choreography.

A tour through Europe with five stops in a row is also something very special for the experienced team of the Spanish Riding School.

With the tour through Europe, the iconic Lipizzaner stallions and their Riders offer a new enthusiastic audience an unforgettable experience of their skills combining a century-long equestrian tradition with perfection and beauty in outstanding performances of the Haute-Ecole.
